Variable: MAX\_ENUM\_VALUES\_PER\_FIELD
const MAX_ENUM_VALUES_PER_FIELD: 50 = 50;Defined in: server/insights/ask/prompt-payload.ts:20
How many enumValues per field survive into the prompt.
A consumer field can legitimately hold thousands of enum values (a customer
list projected as an enum, say). Serializing all of them would blow the
context window AND leak the cardinality of the underlying data — a volume
disclosure the physical-free projection is otherwise careful to avoid. Fifty
is enough for the model to learn the value SHAPE; the server re-validates
every value against the FULL allowlist afterwards (validateDefinition's
enum-value-not-allowed), so truncation can never widen what is accepted.
