A tiny, dependency-free, isomorphic content hash (FNV-1a, 64-bit, hex). Used
to derive a machine's normalized machineVersion and the idempotency
fingerprint without pulling in node:crypto (which would break the shared
lane's browser compatibility).
Not cryptographically secure — it only needs to be stable and well-spread for change detection / dedupe.
