The label a column shows when the consumer supplied no header. Humanizing is the fallback only; an explicit header wins untouched.

Shared-lane because four surfaces read it — desktop header, Columns menu (meta.columnLabel), mobile card, CSV export — and CSV cannot reach a client-lane helper. One place is what keeps them from drifting apart.
