What a cell does when its content is wider than the column's resolved content box.

• "truncate" — one line, ellipsis, and the full text in a native tooltip only while measurement says the content actually overflows.
• "wrap" — soft-wrap onto as many lines as the value needs.
• "clip" — one line, cut off, no ellipsis and no tooltip.
• "visible" — no wrapper at all; the cell renders exactly as authored.

Scalar textual cells default to "truncate". Composite cells (a render with no textValue, plus the badge / avatar / shortcode formats) default to "visible", because there is no plain text to ellipsize or to put in a tooltip.
